Take for instance Starbucks, we can recognize the mermaid symbol and green logo a MILE away. In fact it's one of the reasons why Starbucks became so successful because of how easily people can recognize the branding! Adding to the branding the company's coffee (product)  is great, and thus begins the psychological imprinting of coffee = Starbucks. 

                                          
Well, if client's can recognize you just by looking at your logo or color scheme in a full room - thats good branding. To be able to influence people without being present is what we all aim to achieve as a business! Sure it's easy to use a free logo generator but are you really standing out amongst the crowd? What's your story? How does your branding align and encapsulate that?
